Lineups

• Continuous lineup or 9-man with EH

• Free defensive subs when using continuous

• May finish with 8 players (9th = automatic out)

Timekeeping

• No new inning after 5 mins left in Pool Play 

• Bracket Plays full time limit out

• Bracket ties use California tiebreaker: 1 out, runner on 2nd (last batted out)

Equipment

• Bats must be 2¾” barrel or smaller with approved markings

• Molded or metal cleats allowed (no metal under 13U)

Conduct

• Coaches or players ejected must sit the next game

• No coach interference (e.g., pushing runners)

• Rule protests only (not judgment), $100 cash

• Umpire decisions are final unless overturned by tournament director

Roster Rules

• Max roster size: 15 players

• Age cutoff: May 1

• Grade exception: August 1

• Players may only play on one team per division per tournament

• Proof of age must be shown upon protest

Forfeits & Grace Period

• 10-minute grace period from scheduled start time

• Forfeit score is 6–0 if a team cannot field at least 8 players

• Rule protests only — must be submitted with $100 cash

• Tournament director has final authority on all rulings

Weather & Refund Policy

• A game is official after 4 innings (3½ if home team is ahead)

• Refunds based on number of games completed:

  • 0 games played = Full refund

  • 1 game played = 50% refund

  • 2+ games played = No refund

Sportsmanship & Ejections

• All coaches, players, and fans must act respectfully

• Ejected individuals sit the next game

• Repeat ejection (same person or team) = removal from tournament

• Director may remove anyone for unsportsmanlike behavior

Run Rule (Mercy Rule)

• 15-run lead after 3 innings

• 10-run lead after 4 innings

• 8-run lead after 5 innings

• Game ends immediately when run rule is met
